In this hands-on course, you’ll learn how to expertly capture, edit, and refine your photos using the device that’s always at your fingertips. Smartphones have revolutionized photography, becoming indispensable tools for everything from family moments to business product shots, creative expression, and even documenting the world around us.
Set against the picturesque backdrop of Clos Mirabel, this course offers the perfect setting to practice and perfect your iPhoneography skills. Capture the beauty of lush gardens, sweeping landscapes, charming villages, and intricate botanical details, all through the lens of your iPhone.
You will explore both the technical and artistic aspects of mobile photography, learning how to shoot stunning portraits, master macro and close-up photography, and document your travels. Through a combination of live demonstrations, hands-on shooting exercises, expert-led editing tutorials, and personalized critiques, you will refine your creative vision and develop a deeper understanding of mobile photography techniques.

4.00 – Live shooting session using the camera, Airdrop images.

Monday
8.30 – 9.30 Buffet breakfast of local and regional produce
10.00 – The Photos App, features, settings, how to organise your photos, best practices for editing using the native camera app. Airdrop images.
1.00 – 2.00 Lunch at Clos Mirabel
2.30 – Shooting with the Native iPhone camera in and around the property and/or in the studio, weather permitting.
6.00 – Aperitifs before 4 course dinner in the Manor House or on the terrace
Tuesday
8.30 – 9.30 Buffet breakfast of local and regional produce
10.00 – Landscapes, Cityscapes, Seascapes: best practices for shooting with your iPhone on the go and for travel photography.
1.00 – 2.00 Lunch at Clos Mirabel
2.00 – Depart for field trip to PAU we may visit the town square, castle district and cathedral. Shooting tips for capturing people and landscapes/cityscapes.
5.00 – Return to Clos Mirabel
6.00 – Aperitifs before 4 course dinner in the Manor House or on the terrace
Wednesday – Free day (Lunch is not provided)

You may wish to return to Pau for more exploring or visit any of the nearby towns or go wine tasting in local vineyard. Transportation can be arranged by Clos Mirabel.
