I hope we have another five years of working together! — Susan Hoffman, Director, OLLI at UC Berkeley
I learned that there are so many ways, techniques one can apply to enhance, improve and alter photos to reflect individual perspectives. This course helped me appreciate the art of photography and how much fun I can have taking and editing my photos. — S.T.
This was a fabulous course; hard to say enough good things about the course and Yoni Mayeri. She really knows her stuff and is an outstanding presenter of her material. The photographs that she shared with us were plentiful, gorgeous, and thought-provoking. She opened my eyes, and others in the class, to the value of editing and the fabulous tools that are available in the iPhone. We all posted comments on each other's photos, and Yoni commented as well. She then walked through a discussion of each person's photos -- another great learning experience. She is great at answering questions, patient, and does a great job of demonstrating the various apps she recommends. Plus, she has physical samples of tools (tripod, remote shutter control, pictures and albums that we can print -- she's the whole deal. I learned so many things; I'm still experimenting with what she taught us. Fantastic! — G.R.
Yoni is an excellent professor. She is at the top of her game in content and genuine concern for her students. She give of her expertise freely and encourages questions and participation. Simply wonderful. — S.G.
This was a great course that opened many new aspects of photography with the iphone. It was particularly helpful that the classes were available online for review and to catch up for missed classes. The teacher has a generous and imaginative approach to critiques, and make everyone comfortable about sharing and critiquing each other's work. She covered a lot of specific technical material as well as more subjective insights on photography practice. I am sad that the course has come to its end. — B.S.
Yoni was knowledgeable, kind and encouraging. She is a lovely person. The world of iphone photography is constantly changing and no one is going to be able to keep up with every new app and new wrinkle but Yoni was very open to questions and tried to find answers if she didn't have them at the tip of her tongue. — G.F.
This was a very practical course and my phone is have improved immensely. I never thought about photo editing before this course but my photos are a much better now. — D.T.
