Join Sherri Lynn Wood for a restorative week of intuitive quilting, exploring relationships in abstract piecing at the beautiful Atelier Clos Mirabel in the French Pyrénées.
About this course:
Great stories start with distinct, diverse characters. Improvise abstract patchwork characters using colour, shape, rhythm, and line, then unite them in one narrative quilt. Cultivate intuitive colour and pattern from memory, emotion, culture, and environment. Practice freestyle piecing with simple shapes and strips. Use improv composition to integrate your characters into a cohesive, engaging quilt story, rich in conversation, and aligned with your truth.
