Join the exceptionally talented print designer and tutor Cecilia Pettersson for a week of playful experimentation with hand drawing techniques and painting for exclusive floral pattern designs.
About this course:
Learn to draw expressive florals and turn them into fabulous patterns. In this week-long creative workshop you will learn the techniques to create seamless patterns and print designs.
During your course with Cecilia Pettersson you will:
- Learn numerous hand drawn pattern techniques
- Explore floral patterns and motifs
- Practice your drawing skills
- Learn how to use gouache as a design tool
- Create your own repeat/design.
This course will provide you with a number of solid tools to start designing prints and patterns and will take you on the first steps towards a new creative venture. If you already know how to create designs you will be introduced to more advanced elements for you to work on. The course is based on hand drawn motifs and repeated patterns. Cecilia will show you how to produce efficient repeated patterns.
