Clos Mirabel itself is magical. The care, the food, the atmosphere… everything was exceptional. It felt both social and spacious at the same time, with room to connect and also to be on your own. I settled in instantly and didn’t want to leave. Thank you, Sam, for such a thoughtful and inspiring experience. — Gina, USA
A brilliant week at Clos Mirabel that truly exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a beautiful setting, a bright studio, and amazing food. I loved the balance between focused studio time and space to relax, and the early drawing exercises really helped me settle into the process. The course flowed naturally through different printmaking techniques, with plenty of encouragement throughout. I’ve come away with real confidence to continue at home. I’ll definitely be back. — Elaine, UK
I so enjoyed our week at Clos Mirabel. Having the time and space to create in such a beautiful environment, under Sam’s expert guidance, was incredibly special. I particularly loved the process of translating my sketches into a lino-cut design, and was amazed at how much we all progressed during the week. The balance between drawing and printmaking felt just right. The hospitality, food, accommodation and company all exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend the experience. — Caroline, Australia
I’ve already started sketching again at home and am planning new prints, something I had struggled to commit to before. This experience has given me real direction and momentum, and I would love to take another course with Sam in the future. — Christina, Sweden
