Artist's Projects
Nina Johansson is a teacher, illustrator and watercolourist living in Stockholm, Sweden. She graduated from University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm 2002, and currently teaches sketching, illustration techniques and graphic design at Mälardalen University, near Lake Mälaren.
Nina is an avid urban sketcher, with everyday life and urban landscapes as preferred subjects. She co-founded Urban sketchers Stockholm in 2016 and has taught workshops in several of the Urban sketchers’ international symposiums and other venues. She sees drawing as an integral part of life, as a way of seeing and understanding her surroundings, and no subject is unfit to be examined in a sketchbook.
