Artist's Projects
Julia Trickey is a botanical artist and tutor with over 20 years experience. She is particularly drawn to fading specimens such as desiccated flowers and autumnal leaves, often depicting them larger than life. She has been awarded four RHS gold medals for her work amongst many other accolades. Her work is held in important collections such as the Shirley Sherwood Collection and the Hunt Institute of Botanical Documentation. She teaches regular classes in her beautiful home city of Bath and has also run workshops for Botanical Art groups within the UK as well as places afar afield as New York, Moscow and Transylvania. During the Pandemic, she started hosting online talks where fellow botanical artists present their projects and processes. Three years later these are still very popular and now attract a worldwide audience.
