Gail Jones is an artist and illustrator who creates beautiful botanical artwork from her studio in rural Buckinghamshire. Her original watercolours are sought after by business owners, publishers, stylists and individuals looking to add exquisite botanical beauty to interiors, books and brands. Clients include, Santa Maria Novella, Jo Malone London, DIOR, Jo Loves and Molton Brown.
Gail regularly runs botanical watercolour workshops in her own art studio alongside leading guest watercolour workshops at educational establishments and florists in the UK. Gail’s Bee ‘Bee in Flight’ hand painted in watercolour, was shortlisted for the Royal academy of art summer exhibition 2024.
I just wanted to write and say thanks for a brilliant class. I really enjoyed slowing down and working on a new technique. Having limited experience and success using watercolour in the past I came away from the class with a new found love and enthusiasm for this medium. — Katherine
