Shevaun Doherty is an Irish botanical and natural history artist painting in watercolour on paper and vellum, and current President of the Society of Botanical Artists.

An award-winning artist, she regularly exhibits in Ireland and abroad, including the National Gallery Ireland in 2020.Her work is in the collection of the Crawford Gallery, Cork and the Natural History Museum, Dublin. She has designed three sets of Flora and Fauna National postage stamps for Ireland.

She considers herself a visual storyteller, using her skills to raise awareness about endangered species and conservation. Her bumblebee painting is the cover image for the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan.

Dianne Sutherland is a British botanical artist who originally trained as a painter of floral designs with the Royal Albert design studio, Staffordshire. Thereafter, she worked as a freelance artist living in Scotland, where she also graduated with a BSc in plant biology. In 2011 she moved back to her hometown in Staffordshire and used her SciArt background to continue work as a botanical artist and tutor.

Dianne has a particular passion for recording native British species in her sketchbooks but also travels extensively to document plants and the stories behind them. Her preferred medium is watercolour on paper or vellum.

Most recently she exhibited in Singapore where she was awarded Best in Show at the Flora of Southeast Asia exhibition at the Singapore Botanic Garden. She has work in permanent collections at Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation, the Sydney Florilegium and the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh Florilegium.

Dianne teaches botanical illustration in person and online, and since 2008 has been the author of a regular Botanical Art Blog. She is currently writing a book on painting on vellum.
